A Legacy of
Agricultural Excellence

Established in 1971 under the Catholic Diocese of Moshi, KALTC began as a humble farm in the shadow of Kilimanjaro. With formal training commencing in 1984 and NACTE accreditation in 2008, we have grown into one of Tanzania's most respected agricultural training institutions.

Today the centre encompasses a fully-functioning poultry, diary,piggery farm, fishery, hatchery, stone crusher, brickworks, and a training institute serving 300+ students — creating real employment and lasting impact across the Kilimanjaro region.
